Job summary

Toyota of Melbourne in Florida is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles. You will perform inspections, test components, and work with the Service Advisor to communicate needed repairs and timelines; ASE certification is preferred, and a clean driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the automotive industry with multiple brands.
• ASE Certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Used Car inspection.
• Perform repair work as listed on the repair order with efficiency.
• Routine inspections and maintenance online.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.).
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Experienced Used Car Technician needed for the largestvolumedealer in Brevard County. Must have a good working knowledge of how to do Used CarDiagnostics, Maintenance, Service and Repairs for import, domestic and European vehicles. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Used Car Inspection

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Routine inspections and maintenance online

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Full automotive troubleshooting and testing

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have 2 years of experience in The automotive industry working with many brands of vehicle.

• ASE Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Strong teamwork skills

• Willing to submit to a drug screen& background check

• Must have clean & valid driver's license
