Job summary

Toyota of Melbourne is seeking a friendly Rental Car Agent to support the loaner fleet and assist customers at the service drive. You’ll coordinate with the Rental Car Manager, inspect loaners for damage, document contracts, and guide customers from check-out to return with a quick walk-around.

Ideal candidates have a High School degree, a valid driver''s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Rental Car Manager to prepare loaners for customers.
• Check loaners in/out for damage and fuel before checkout.
• Verify loaner contracts with DL, insurance proof, and deposits.
• Escort customers to loaner, perform walkaround and acquire signatures.
• On return, inspect for damage, fuel, signatures and any charges.
• Assist Rental Car Manager with other duties as required.

Job Description:

Toyota of Melbourne has an immediate opportunity for a Rental Car Agent. Must have an outgoing personality, the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate with Rental Car Manager to have loaner vehicles cleaned inside and out prior to loaning To customer.
• Ensure loaner vehicles are checked in properly for damage and fuel usage. This must be performed prior to customer leaving the service center.
• Responsible for ensuring proper documentation requirements are met for all loaner contracts (i.e. valid DL, valid proof of insurance, deductible deposit charged if applicable)
• Escort customers to the loaner car. Perform a walk around, cover preexisting damage, and fuel levels. Obtain all document signatures required.
• Once loaner car is returned, perform a return walk around, review any new damage and fuel level. Obtain all return document signature required, as well as any payment for deductible/damage/s to loaner car.
• Assist Rental Car Manager with other duties as required.

Requirements:
