Job summary

Rairdon Auto Group is hiring Used Car Technicians for their location in Monroe, WA. The role involves inspecting used cars, diagnosing issues, and performing basic maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience working on cars, preferably used, and should possess a clean driver's license. ASE certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• A couple of years of experience working on cars (used cars preferred).
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and clean driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect used cars to ensure they meet standards.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical or electrical issues.
• Handle basic maintenance tasks like oil changes and brakes.
• Keep repair notes clean and clear.
• Flag any other issues that need to be resolved.
• Ensure every car is safe and ready to sell.

• Paid Time Off (PTO): All new employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law. Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn an additional 40 hours of PTO each anniversary year; following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn 80 hours of PTO each anniversary year, according to terms of PTO policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting used cars to make sure they’re up to standard
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical or electrical issues
• Handling basic maintenance — oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.
• Keeping repair notes clean and clear
• Flagging any other issues that need to be resolved
• Making sure every car you touch is safe, solid, and ready to sell

Qualifications

• A couple of years of experience working on cars (used cars = a big plus)
• ASE certifications? Even better (but not required)
• Someone who can figure things out and get the job done right
• Team player with a good attitude
• Clean driver’s license
