Job summary

Rairdon’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Marysville is hiring a Used Car Technician in Arlington, WA. The role involves inspecting vehicles, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and performing routine maintenance to ensure safety and readiness for sale.

The ideal candidate has a couple of years of automotive repair experience, preferably with used cars, and a practical problem-solving mindset. ASE certification is a bonus, and a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• A couple of years of experience working on cars (used cars a big plus).
• ASE certifications? Even better (but not required).
• Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical/electrical issues.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on skills.
• Clean driving record and safe work habits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect used cars to ensure they meet standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues.
• Perform basic maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires).
• Keep repair notes clear and up-to-date.
• Identify and communicate additional issues to customers or managers.
• Ensure every vehicle is safe and ready for sale.

Job Location: DCJ of Marysville - Arlington, WA 98223, Salary Range: $25.00 - $38.00 Hourly, NOW HIRING: Used Car Technicians | Rairdon’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Marysville | Marysville, WA

Full Time Competitive pay $25.00-$38.00 D.O.E. per flat rate hour | Great Benefits

• Paid Time Off (PTO): All new employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law. Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn an additional 40 hours of PTO each anniversary year; following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn 80 hours of PTO each anniversary year, according to terms of PTO policies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Inspecting used cars to make sure they’re up to standard
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical or electrical issues
• Handling basic maintenance — oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.
• Keeping repair notes clean and clear
• Flagging any other issues that need to be resolved
• Making sure every car you touch is safe, solid, and ready to sell

What We’re Looking For:

• A couple of years of experience working on cars (used cars = a big plus)
• ASE certifications? Even better (but not required)
• Someone who can figure things out and get the job done right
• Team player with a good attitude
• Clean driver’s license
