This is a full-time REMOTE opportunity. For selected candidates, an AUTOCAD test will be required.

What You'll Do

• Transform engineer-provided conceptual designs into detailed CAD working documents.
• Develop construction drawings, topographical profiles, maps, and specifications for gas pipeline projects.
• Create maps and charts illustrating profiles and cross-sections with topographical contours.
• Draft detailed structural drawings.
• Assist survey crews in collecting field data for drawing revisions.
• Calculate rights-of-way and street dimensions and angles.
• Establish dimensional relationships between parts and overall project using engineering principles and math.
• Produce preliminary or final sketches using CAD software.
• Import survey data to create contour drawings for soil erosion and sediment control planning.
• Design supports for pipelines, including above- and below-ground structures.
• Revise drawings as directed by engineers or design coordinators.
• Generate as-built drawings after project completion.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Design and Drafting Technology (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills.
