Autohaus Lancaster, Inc. is hiring for an experienced Used Car Service Technician / Mechanic to work in our internal used car department. Our ideal candidate will have experience working on many different brands of automobiles, import and domestic. B Level or higher technician/mechanic experience is preferred. This job entails working in our internal used car department alongside another Used Car Technician.Autohaus is a fifty-plus year family-owned, franchised Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche dealership in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Perform quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards.Recondition pre-owned vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
• Perform quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards
• Recondition pre-owned vehicles
• Clearly write and communicate needed repairs/maintenance and the parts and time needed to repair
• Maintain repair and service records
• Test vehicles both before and after repair
• Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications

Requirements

• Current PA State and Emissions licenses.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Background in both foreign and domestic vehicles.
• Audi and VW experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work overtime if required.
• Must provide own tools.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
