Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Used Car Reconditioning Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair trade-in and pre-owned vehicles for our inventory. A strong mechanical background and diagnostic skills are required.

This role offers a climate-controlled shop, a team-focused environment, and opportunities for growth. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a valid driver's license; ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with a variety of makes and models.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect used vehicles to identify damage, maintenance needs, and repairs, documenting findings.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Identify additional services, repairs, and parts needed and communicate recommendations to the Service Manager.
• Estimate the time required to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Complete all work according to dealership standards and repair order instructions.
• Maintain thorough workmanship and follow established shop procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned for resale.
