Pathward, N.A. is seeking a closing specialist to manage USDA loan closings from approval through funding.

You will coordinate with borrowers, guarantors, counsel, brokers, title companies, USDA representatives, and vendors to ensure a compliant, timely close. • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically requires a minimum of five years of related experience.
• 2-3 years of Government Guaranteed Lending closing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage pipeline of USDA loan closings from approval through funding, ensuring compliance with USDA program requirements, Bank credit approvals, and internal policies and procedures.
• Identify, collect, review, and validate all documentation required for closing, including USDA-specific eligibility, environmental, appraisal, collateral, and guarantee-related requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate directly with internal partners to facilitate timely and accurate closings.
• Partner with internal and external legal counsel to prepare, review, and finalize loan documentation, ensuring all closing conditions and USDA requirements are satisfied prior to funding.
• Monitor closing timelines, proactively identify potential delays, and drive necessary actions to ensure transactions close within established service level expectations.
• Review loan approvals and commitment terms to ensure closing documents accurately reflect approved credit structures and USDA program requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison during the closing process, providing status updates, resolving issues, and escalating risks or borrower responsiveness concerns as appropriate.
• Ensure all collateral, title, insurance, entity, and perfection requirements are completed and documented prior to funding.
• Coordinate post-closing delivery requirements and support the loan sale and guarantee application process, as applicable.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, USDA personnel, attorneys, and business partners to support an efficient closing experience.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and providing subject matter expertise to other members of the Closing Team.
• Support process improvement initiatives, reporting, procedural documentation, and compliance efforts related to USDA lending operations.
