Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Quality Control Manager to enforce QC on USACE projects in Tracy, CA. You will chair weekly QC coordination meetings with subcontractors and coordinate with the USACE Resident Engineer.

You will manage daily QC reports, submittals, deficiencies, and test results, adhering to USACE Three-Phase control processes. The role requires 7+ years of QC management on USACE projects, a USACE CQM/CQC-M certification, and the ability to pass a government background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of quality control management experience on projects.
• Experience with USACE projects.
• USACE CQM or CQC-M certification.
• Ability to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Chair and document weekly QC coordination meetings with subcontractors and attend progress meetings with the USACE Resident Engineer or administrative team.
• Update RMSto log daily QC reports, track submittals, manage deficiencies, and upload test results.
• Implement and document the Three-Phase USACE Control process for each definable feature of work.
• Identify, document, and track construction defects using a rework log, ensuring prompt corrective action and closure.
• Review, approve, and track shop drawings, material samples, and technical data sheets before submission to government or on-site use.
