Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate will provide service support for products in the service center, assist with customer requests for medical equipment, prepare movable medical equipment and support surfaces for rental, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. This position does not involve direct customer interface and is not authorized to transfer or position patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Engage in warehouse activities such as bed decontamination, product cleaning, shipping, and receiving.
2. Comply with all safety guidelines.
3. Assist in maintaining an accurate on-site inventory.
4. Conduct general housekeeping activities in the service center, including 5S activities.
5. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to standards for Continuous Improvement.
6. Collaborate and communicate effectively with sales, co-workers, other departments, and customers.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
8. Participate in safety training, meetings, and medical testing; keep up-to-date with requirements.
9. Operate safely within guidelines or regulations.
10. Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety, health, and quality, complying with all company, governmental, and customer regulations.
11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
12. Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting company standards.
• Previous mechanical or hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions.
• Capable of performing basic administrative tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use a computer to perform assignments.
