Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources; mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, product specs, seasonality, POS systems, and sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and engage with associates; utilize handheld technology for decision-making and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage inventory, safety, and compliance; process transactions; assist members; resolve issues; complete documentation.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products; inspire and develop team members; uphold the brand and customer experience.
• Follow company policies, ethics, and standards; implement action plans; use communication channels effectively; adapt to change and feedback.
