Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and sales techniques including POS systems and customer interactions.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, enhance service, and improve engagement. Adapt to new tools and promote their use among team members.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, supplies, and inventory; operate registers; process transactions; ensure safety and compliance; and assist members with purchasing decisions while resolving issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and model respectful, team-oriented behavior. Understand and help overcome roadblocks to success.
