Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specs, and seasonal considerations; proficient with Point of Sale, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan sales, enhance service, and boost engagement; use handheld technology for decision-making related to safety, products, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, and supplies; operate registers and process transactions; maintain inventory and safety standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by delivering high-quality service; inspire and develop team members; support a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
• Follow company policies, ethics, and standards; use the Open Door Policy; implement business practices accordingly.
• Complete assignments by collaborating with managers, colleagues, and customers; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvements; learn from feedback and change.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver’s license; successful completion of required training; age 18 or older.
