Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver more of what our members love, for less, by working collaboratively with other associates to meet the club's and members' expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems, phones, and in-person selling techniques effectively.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to do the same.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage inventory and safety standards; process transactions; assist members with purchasing decisions; and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products, model respectful and supportive teamwork, and assist in training team members.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, and complete work assignments efficiently, collaborating with managers and partners, and continuously seeking improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable in the job location.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver's license. Must be 18 years or older. Successful completion of required training and assessments within the prescribed time if hired.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
