Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your role is to deliver more of what members love, for less, by working collaboratively with other associates to meet the club's expectations.

What you'll do

1. Provide Member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
2. Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile items.
3. Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and managing shrink and damages.
4. Receive and stock merchandise, organize the Tire and Battery Center, follow company procedures, utilize equipment properly, and complete necessary documentation.
5. Ensure safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
6. Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
7. Assist members with purchasing and service decisions, complete vehicle service requests, operate equipment safely, and manage merchandise and paperwork.
8. Service members' automobiles by driving vehicles into and out of bays, noting damages, performing tire and battery services, and operating computer equipment for processing services.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with additional premiums possible based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed local minimum wages.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must complete all required training and assessments successfully.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the auto service industry or retail.
