Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less, by collaborating with other associates to meet the club's expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, and sales techniques using POS systems and in-person selling.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions, while encouraging others to adopt new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, and supplies needs, operate cash registers, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Adhere to company policies and ethical standards, and participate in continuous improvement.
