Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems and sales techniques effectively.
3. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions and adapt to new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies needs, track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand, model high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Comply with policies and complete work efficiently.
6. Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create a workplace of belonging, build trusting relationships, and support team development.
