Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for excellent customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use POS systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques effectively.
3. Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan sales, enhance service, and improve engagement using handheld technology, making immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies needs, monitor returns and orders, operate cash registers, maintain inventory, ensure safety and compliance, report hazards, complete paperwork, assist members, and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand, model high service standards, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment.
