Position Summary: As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to meet the club’s expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and sales techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to do the same.
4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory and safety standards; report complaints and hazards; assist members with purchasing and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive team environment.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional premiums may apply under certain circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license and age 18 or older. Successful completion of required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in auto service industry or retail.
