Position Summary: As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems and selling techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan, drive sales, and improve the service experience. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions regarding services, safety alerts, and product information.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, special orders, and operate cash registers. Maintain inventory accuracy, safety, and compliance. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and inspiring others. Support a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment. Develop and mentor team members.
- Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart's culture, and hold oneself and others accountable. Support Walmart's goal of positive impact for all stakeholders.
