Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and seasonality; proficient in POS systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, enhance service, and boost engagement; utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to services, safety, products, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory and compliance; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchases and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service; inspire and develop team members; understand and help overcome roadblocks.
• Follow company policies, uphold ethics, and implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; execute business practices accordingly.
• Complete work efficiently by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvements; learn from feedback.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage for the location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or work performed.

Experience in auto service or retail is preferred.
