Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new products, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, special orders, operating cash registers, processing transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety and compliance. Report safety hazards and complete necessary documentation.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing the member experience, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Comply with company policies and execute business practices effectively.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00*, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage, plus potential premiums based on specific conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Must complete all required trainings and assessments successfully
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
