As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians, all while providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operation, TPMS, and product specifications, and utilize POS systems and sales techniques effectively.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment and supplies needs, operate cash registers, maintain inventory accuracy, and resolve member issues, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote a positive brand image, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment.
6. Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart’s culture, and be accountable for your actions.
