Your role as a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician will involve supporting and overseeing repairs within Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets, utilizing your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety training for equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations following Walmart's safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move frequently using ladders.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls, or 4 years' experience in similar fields. EPA Type I/Type II Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications...

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a Mechanical license in the local city/state where the job is located.
