Base pay range

$23.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding our workforce and recruiting Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technicians. If you have relevant experience, bring your skills to our fast-paced, welcoming environment!

Your role will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, and digital tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record, ability to pass MVR
• 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using various tools
• Use work order system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders
