Job summary

LanceSoft in Midland, TX is seeking a Technician I for 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) on site. The position pays $30–$34 per hour and runs for 0-12+ months.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose basic electrical/mechanical issues.
• Experience with preventive maintenance schedules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep machines and equipment in pipe manufacturing running smoothly.
• Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.
• Perform daily checks on equipment and filters; document findings for supervisors.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and coordinate repairs.
• Take oil samples for analysis to determine lubricant replacement needs.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Support on-call duties as needed.

Job description

Description: Title: Technician I Location: Midland, TX 79706 Duration: 0-12+ Months Shift: Night shift position: 7pm - 7am - 12 hour shifts 5 day per week on site, Pay Rate: $30/hour - $34 /Hour

Job Duties Upkeep of machines and equipment use in pipe manufacturing. Ordered parts for broken equipment and supplies for the preventative maintenance. We did daily checks on all equipment and filters in the entire plant. Diagnosed broke equipment electrical and mechanical. Also kept the management and supervisors informed of what was wrong and a update on the repairs. Also did on call. Also would take samples of the oil in the equipment to be sent off to be analyzed. This helped determine when the oil in the extruders needed to be replaced. We did daily monthly and yearly preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities. We also made things to add to equipment to help make things easier and run better.
