Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and looking for a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team. If you have experience in this field, we want your skills in our fast-paced environment! As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform routine tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of Walmart stores, working under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using various craft skills and tools.
• Use work order systems to document repair activities and support store operations.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete safety and operation training for equipment and tools.

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Vocational or technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years of related work experience in trades like plumbing, electrical, or material handling.
