Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves executing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores. Under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you'll conduct inspections, repairs, and maintenance of facilities and equipment, adhering to schedules and safety guidelines.

Position Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in various temperatures
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Vocational/Technical certification and 1 year experience or 2 years total work experience in trades like plumbing, electrical, or related

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities and equipment using various craft skills
• Support store operations through work order management and emergency responses
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment for issues
• Complete safety training for equipment and tools

Compensation Details

Minimum Qualifications
