Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our expanding team. This role involves performing routine maintenance to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of Walmart stores, under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

What you'll do

Execute maintenance tasks including inspections, cleaning, and repairs of facilities, equipment, or fixtures. Use the work order system to support store operations and respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs. Conduct testing and diagnostics of facilities and equipment to identify issues.

Position Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in various temperatures
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to obtain a CDL
• Vocational or technical certification and 3+ years' experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program or related trade license
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software
