Position Summary...
What you'll do...
- Directs and guides management and hourly associates on customer service techniques by modeling excellent service, teaching, and ensuring customer needs and complaints are addressed within company standards. Builds relationships with associates for feedback and information sharing.
- Oversees financial performance by achieving sales, wages, and expense targets; assists in controlling expenses; and develops plans to improve financial results. Creates budgets aligned with business needs and analyzes economic trends for forecasting.
- Participates in community outreach, establishing relationships with local groups, representing the company, and promoting company programs and sustainability efforts to foster community integration.
- Manages facility operations by setting service standards, training staff on merchandise presentation, pricing, signage, inventory, and executing company programs and initiatives. Ensures quality standards and safety compliance.
- Provides supervision and development for management and hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, delegating, and performance management to meet staffing and growth goals.
- Drives business plans by identifying needs, developing strategies, removing obstacles, measuring performance, and adjusting plans. Supports continuous learning and contingency planning.
- Promotes policies and standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of belonging and respect. Builds high-performing teams that embrace diversity and inclusion.
- Acts with integrity by maintaining high ethical standards, accountability, and supporting Walmart’s values, including sustainability and community involvement.
- Delivers results by prioritizing customer needs, using data insights, and balancing short-term and long-term goals. Encourages innovation, resilience, and learning from mistakes.

Minimum Qualifications...
1 year of general management experience including financial accountability.
2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience with supervisory duties OR 2 years of general work experience with supervisory experience.
Additional requirements for firearm and ammunition facilities as specified.
Preferred Qualifications...
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership preferred, along with experience supervising 20+ employees including performance management and hiring.
