Job description

Position Summary...

This role involves directing and guiding management and hourly associates on customer service techniques by modeling excellent customer service, teaching, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards. The position also includes building relationships with associates for feedback, answering questions, and providing information to customers and associates.

The role is responsible for driving and ensuring the financial performance of the facility by achieving budgeted sales, wages, and expenses, assisting in expense control, and implementing plans to improve financial outcomes. It involves creating budgets aligned with business needs, analyzing economic trends, and participating in community outreach programs to foster good community relations and promote the company's presence.

Additional responsibilities include directing facility operations to maintain service levels, overseeing safety and quality standards, providing supervision and development opportunities for staff, and promoting company policies and ethical standards. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, acting with integrity, serving customers, striving for excellence, and supporting community engagement.

Minimum Qualifications...

Candidates must have:

  • 1 year of general management experience including financial accountability,
  • or 2 years of college,
  • or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervising 10+ associates,
  • or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervising 10+ associates.

Additional requirements include compliance with state-specific certifications for firearm and ammunition sales, attendance at mandatory training, and successful completion of background checks where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications...

Preferred candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University,
  • Experience supervising 20 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
