Pay Rate: $14.47/hour

About this opportunity: Servesas lead worker to employees working in the Thrift Store and assisting store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items.

Key responsibilities:

• Plans, schedules, and assigns work of Store Clerks in the absence of Store Manager. Instructs and trains employees in the proper methods and procedures.
• Assists employees in resolving routine problems; notifies Thrift Store Manager of unique operational or personnel problems.
• Prepares sales records and bank deposits.

What we are looking for in you:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. AND
• One year progressively responsible experience working in a retail store, OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to operate a cash register, perform frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with lifting and carrying objects.
