As the Business Systems Analyst – Platform+ Applications within VIZIO’s Information Technology team, this individual plays a critical role working closely with the business and across the Information Technology organization to define, deliver, monitor, and support IT business solutions and roadmaps. This position involves providing cost-effective analysis of business financial systems and applications, supporting the development and implementation of business applications, evaluating and documenting requirements, translating them into system specifications, and configuring solutions. The analyst operates as a liaison between technical personnel and end-user departments, translating end-user needs into technical solutions, and supporting the understanding and implementation of these solutions. The role also includes teaching end users about new technology and enhancements, providing support for existing systems.

Our IT Business Solutions team plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of our business operations.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Work with business users to define, analyze, and prioritize problems, and align appropriate technical solutions.
• Develop, document, and manage requirements, providing detailed design and business rules to support project goals.
• Review system test plans, execute system tests, and ensure end-user documentation and training are accurate.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to deliver products and services, providing advanced input on processes and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

• Educational Background: Undergraduate degree in Business Management/Information Systems with 2 years of relevant experience or a graduate degree with 1-year relevant experience.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of system development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile), project management tools (Jira, Confluence), and data analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in finance/accounting processes, with experience in data integration and analysis.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of creating detailed documentation and delivering training.
• Certifications: Scrum Master certification is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $130,000. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses, stock options, and other benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's in computer science, management, information systems, mathematics, business, or related field.
• Option 2: 3 years' experience in software engineering, consulting, DevOps, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP, Workday, Infor, Coupa, or similar systems and integrations.
• Experience writing functional specifications and test scripts.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA), assistive technologies, and inclusive digital practices.
