Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $61.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding our workforce and recruiting Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technicians. If you have relevant experience, bring your skills to our fast-paced, welcoming environment. You will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment using various tools, ensuring high standards of service and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use work order management system to document activities and support store needs
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and operate ladders safely

Compensation

Hourly wage: $31.00-$61.00, with possible premiums based on specific circumstances.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

Minimum: 10 years’ HVAC/refrigeration experience or 8 years’ plus AAS degree; EPA Certification. Preferred: Technical/vocational HVAC/R training, good driving record, experience with Glycol and CO2 systems.
