Base pay range

$26.00/hr - $51.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and seeks experienced Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technicians to support and oversee refrigeration and HVAC repairs within our retail stores. This role involves utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC assets.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets
• Utilize work order management system for repairs and documentation
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment for issues
• Complete safety training for equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders
