About the Role: Our Development Engineering Technician, Senior will perform experiments for the SkyWater Advanced Technology Services (ATS) Engineering team, troubleshoot, and process wafers across all fab toolsets. They will develop work instructions, process, and metrology recipes, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Communicate with Development Engineers regarding ATS material movement.
2. Troubleshoot and disposition non-conforming material.
3. Perform standard and advanced engineering experiments.
4. Become proficient in processing wafers across all fab toolsets.
5. Develop and refine work instructions, recipes, and processes.
6. Engage in continuous improvement to eliminate waste and enhance quality.
7. Operate independently with guidance when needed.

Qualifications:

• AAS degree with 3+ years or BS degree with 0-3 years in semiconductor fab or lab environment. Relevant semi experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processing areas such as Photo, Etch, Thin Films, CMP, or Implant/RTA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Shift Details: D Shift (Thursday through Saturday or Wednesday through Saturday), 6:00 pm to 6:15 am, with a 25% shift differential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with engineering experiments.
• Experience with RSC writing and engineering specs.
• Experience with SPC.

Additional Information: U.S. Citizenship required to obtain security clearance. The hourly rate ranges from $26.19 to $39.29, plus a 25% shift differential. SkyWater offers competitive benefits including 401k match, health benefits, paid time off, and more.
