VIZIO’s Technology – Software and Services team is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within the team and contribute to innovative VIZIO products.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in Quality Engineering are preferred. Candidates with equivalent hands-on experience without a degree will also be considered.
Proficiency in Python and shell scripting, especially for embedded environments, and experience in debugging embedded systems are required.
Understanding of performance testing, data collection, and experience working within an Agile environment is expected.
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, and test management platforms is necessary.
Experience in log analysis, writing unit tests for graphics/video applications, and system health monitoring is desired.
Bonus points for experience with Smart TV or Soundbar technology, or knowledge of streaming protocols and DRM.
