Position Summary...
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Maintains flexibility to meet business needs, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations, providing meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping). Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management, and maintains equipment.
- Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and engage associates. Utilizes handheld technology for making immediate business decisions, training, and ensuring product quality, adapting to new tools, and encouraging their use.
- Be an Owner: Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains work areas according to policies, ensures quality standards, eliminates waste, and assists members with purchasing decisions, proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, executing tasks at a high standard, training others, and understanding and overcoming roadblocks.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing related action plans, and applying the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, and seeking improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months' experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in meat processing area is preferred.
