Machine Operator - 2nd shift
Production & Support

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathes and mills efficiently.
• Load and unload parts following work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for dimensions and tolerances.
• Input production data into SAP and SharePoint systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety regulations.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform preventative maintenance on machines and tools.
• Monitor machine fluid levels and other operational parameters.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions; perform adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Perform tasks such as milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, and bench operations.
• Detect defective materials and report issues to supervisors.
• Conduct quality checks using portable CMM and gaging tools like micrometers and bore gauges.
• Communicate effectively in verbal, written, and digital formats.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of CNC machine operation experience.
• Knowledge of CNC lathe/mill operations, cutting tools, and machining tight tolerances.
• Attention to detail regarding part quality and non-conformance issues.
• GD&T knowledge is preferred.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply common sense to problem-solving.

Physical Demands:

Requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching, crawling, and communicating. Must lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and depth perception.
