Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping). Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results through operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring quality standards, eliminating waste, securing fragile or high-shrink merchandise, assisting members with purchasing, and proper packaging and labeling.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service. Interact with associates to identify roadblocks and assist in training for job duties.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Use the Open Door Policy and apply these principles in business practices.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and colleagues, communicating progress, identifying improvements, and adapting to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.

Minimum Qualifications

6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18 or older. Must complete all required training and assessments successfully.
