Job description

Responsible for operating various equipment to support manufacturing, packaging, and shipping high-quality products to customers. Tasks include running sheet-fed and digital presses, bindery and processing equipment, and managing shipping and packing processes. Associates must follow standard operating procedures to ensure order quality while working collaboratively to meet daily goals. The role involves operating standard work with potential manual numbering, basic setups, and changeovers. It requires a combination of computer and mechanical skills across multiple manufacturing, packing, and shipping stages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Load and operate printing presses: Load paper, troubleshoot jams, verify customer information, and ensure print quality.
2. Operate bindery equipment: Feed checks into machines for gluing and stapling into checkbooks, requiring strong mechanical skills.
3. Manage automated systems: Oversee wrapping and conveyor systems to add inserts and ensure proper wrapping of checks into plastic.
4. Shipping and labeling: Scan barcodes, print labels, and sort packages for accurate mailing.
5. Physical requirements: Stand for up to eight hours, lift up to 15 pounds, and maintain keen attention to detail and organization throughout the process.

Qualifications:

Basic: Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the USA.

Preferred: HS/GED with 1 year of printing experience with similar equipment; familiarity with printing processes, equipment, ink usage; mechanical aptitude; basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Certifications & Additional Qualifications:

Must meet basic age requirements. Additional certifications are not specified but are encouraged.
