Position Summary...
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a work area according to company policies, and ensure quality and standards for high-volume meat products. Eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the members' experience in the meat area, modeling high-quality service and products, executing tasks at the highest level, interacting with associates to understand and address roadblocks, and assisting in training.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners. Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, communicate progress, and suggest improvements. Adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
Minimum Qualifications...
6 months of experience working in a fresh production department. Ability to complete required trainings and assessments. Must be 18 years or older.
