What you'll do...
  • Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
  • Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
  • Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring quality standards, eliminating waste, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, executing tasks at the highest level, interacting with associates to resolve roadblocks, and assisting in training.
  • Comply with Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement related action plans, utilize the Open Door Policy, and apply these in business practices.
  • Complete Work Assignments: Prioritize tasks using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to changes and feedback.
Core Values and Behaviors
  • Respect the Individual: Embrace differences, create a supportive workplace, and foster a culture of belonging. Build trust, support diversity, and help others thrive.
  • Act with Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance, model company values, hold oneself and others accountable, and support positive impacts for all stakeholders.
  • Serve our Customers and Members: Deliver results with a customer-first approach, make decisions based on reliable information, and consider the impact on the team and purpose.
  • Strive for Excellence: Be curious, take calculated risks, support continuous improvement, and embrace new technologies and skills.
