Position Summary... As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure food safety compliance, sanitation, and inventory management, and operate equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance shopping experience, and boost associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage adaptation to new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work areas per policies, ensure quality standards, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, value member experience, model high-quality service, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training.
- Compliance and Work Management: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, complete work assignments, collaborate with managers and partners, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and identify improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time frame.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Meat Processing Area is preferred.
