Job description

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively; develops interpersonal skills for customer service; is flexible to business needs; tracks goods; maintains stock levels; controls shrinkage.
  2. Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; processes meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory standards; operates and sanitizes equipment.
  3. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilizes handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages their use.
  4. Be an Owner: Drives business results; ensures operational excellence; plans for profitability; maintains a clean and safe work area; ensures product quality; minimizes waste; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; assists members with purchasing; ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club; values member experience; models high-quality service; interacts with associates to identify and address roadblocks; assists in training.
  6. Complies with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards; utilizes open door policy; applies these in business practices.
  7. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers and colleagues; sets priorities; communicates progress; seeks improvement opportunities; learns from feedback and change.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00

  • The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable locally.

Additional premiums may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, with multiple premiums possible.

Minimum Qualifications...

At least 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.

I acknowledge that I must complete all required training and assessments within the designated timeframe if hired.

Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in Meat Processing Area.
