Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high-quality service, and execute tasks at the highest standards. Train and mentor others, and recognize contributions.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics. Complete work assignments, collaborate with team members, and seek continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in meat processing areas is preferred.
