Job description

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for customer service; be flexible to business needs; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards; operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, training, and quality; adapt to and promote new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results; ensure operational excellence; plan for profitability; maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure quality and standards for high-volume meat products; eliminate waste; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; assist members with purchasing; ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club; value the member experience; model high-quality service and products; perform duties at the highest level; interact with and train associates to overcome roadblocks.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in daily practices.
• Complete work assignments by utilizing policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, and business partners; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities; learn from feedback and changes.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00.

• The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.

Additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, location, season, or work performed, with multiple premiums possibly stacking.

Minimum Qualifications...

6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.

I acknowledge that I must complete all required training and assessments within the specified timeframe if hired.
