Position Summary...

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, and is flexible to the needs of the business.
• Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
• Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourages others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a clean work area, ensures quality and standards for high-volume meat products, eliminates waste, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing tasks at the highest level of quality, and mentoring others.

Other responsibilities include complying with company policies, completing work assignments efficiently, collaborating with team members, and fostering a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence.
