Job description

Position Summary...

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...
  • Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Flexibility to the needs of the business, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
  • Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
  • Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to do the same.
  • Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a clean work area, ensures quality standards, eliminates waste, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club, values member experience, models high-quality service and products, interacts with associates to understand roadblocks, and assists in training them.
  • Compliance and Collaboration: Follows company policies, procedures, and ethics. Completes work assignments using policies, data, and resources. Collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and identify improvements.
