Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and implementing other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, stock and inventory management, budgeting, and sales forecasting. Develops and maintains cross-functional relationships, assessing economic trends and demographics.
Models, enforces, and guides associates on customer service techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to be active community members.
Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews. Develops and executes action plans and guides the implementation of company programs and strategic initiatives.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training, mentoring, duty assignment, performance feedback, recognition, and diversity awareness. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and records as required by policies and regulations.
Manages pharmacy operations, conducts associate meetings, and ensures pharmacy activities align with company and regulatory standards, such as HIPAA and SOPs. Oversees inventory flow, monitors financial performance, and manages budgets, ensuring assets and liabilities are properly reported.
Creates a culture of patient safety and quality care, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed. Communicates effectively regarding new therapies, documentation, and error reporting. Identifies areas for improvement and implements corrective actions.
Fosters a compliance-focused environment, guiding and monitoring adherence to billing, HIPAA, and SOPs. Uses auditing to identify issues and improve processes.

The annual salary range for this position is $112,000 - $197,000, with potential performance bonuses and additional compensation based on location and external factors.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Must possess a valid pharmacy license by the job entry date. Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, state pharmacy association).
U.S. pharmacy-related experience is preferred.
